On these Grand Canyon West Rim tours, you'll travel by ground in a small group of only six people with your private guide. You will ride across the top of Hoover Dam and stop for photos and then head out across a scenic Mohave Desert Joshua tree forest and climb up to the remote parts of the Grand Canyon West Rim, which is a wilderness area of the Hualapai Indian Reservation. Here you can see the Colorado River 3,000 feet directly below you! The view across the Canyon from river to plateau top is over a mile.

You will then fly down to the bottom of the Grand Canyon by helicopter. Now you'll board a state-of-the-art Sundance A-Star helicopter for a dramatic flight down, down, down beside vertical walls into the depths of the Canyon and land by the banks of the majestic Colorado River.

Travel by pontoon boat up the Colorado River

You will power up a smooth water section of the Colorado River, deep inside the Grand Canyon West Rim, and witness the Canyon from the inside out (up). It's a breathtaking view and you experience the pristine calm and quiet of the Canyon floor wilderness.

Helicopter out of the Canyon back up to the Rim

Your boat will take you back to the helicopter where you will be lifted up, up, up to the Canyon Rim. There you'll have a picnic lunch surrounded by ultimate canyon views and wide-open spaces. Be sure to watch for deer, antelope, elk, and mustangs, eagles, and the very rare California condors.

Drive back to Las Vegas

For the finale of these Grand Canyon West Rim tours, your guide will drive you back to Las Vegas. As we return to Las Vegas, there is a scenic stop at the colorful rocks of Rainbow Canyon on the banks of Lake Mead and then back we go across the Hoover Dam. You'll be back to Las Vegas in time for dinner and show, or for whatever else you do when in Vegas.
