Grand Canyon River Rafting
"Our rafting trip in the Grand Canyon was awesome!" -
R. Berger - Truckee, CA
The mighty Grand Canyon attracts people from all over the world
to experience the thrills and excitement of rafting the Colorado
River. These incredible Grand Canyon rafting trips are available
as day trips from March 15 - October 31 with the largest whitewater
being in May and June. Multi-day trips also take place throughout
the year and are only available with advance reservations.

The exciting day trips are the most popular types of Grand Canyon
rafting trips. There are two choices for those wishing to do these
types of trips. One trip drives to the canyon and then you go rafting
ending with a drive back to Las Vegas. The other option offers a
helicopter flight to the canyon (saving much time) and then you
go rafting, the trip ends with a drive back to Las Vegas. Both options
allow plenty of time on the river.
ONE-DAY GRAND CANYON RAFTING TRIPS
Enjoy real Grand Canyon white-water rafting for a day and be back
in Las Vegas for dinner. Your adventure begins with transportation
options of either of a scenic plane flight or by ground transportation
from Las Vegas to Peach Springs, Arizona, deep in the heart of the
Hualapai Indian homeland.
The scenic plane flight gives you spectacular aerial views of Hoover
Dam, Lake Mead, Valley of Fire, and of course, the Grand Canyon.
The ground transportation option is in a luxury-model SUV that picks
you up right at your Las Vegas hotel and drives you across the top
of Hoover Dam.
On the next segment of your journey, the Indians take you through
Grand Canyon wilderness by shuttle bus to Diamond Creek where your
8-passenger raft and Hualapia Indian guide stand ready to take you
through the seventh wonder of the world.
Once on the Colorado, hold on as you raft for 55 miles over a series
of white water rapids ranging from class 3 to 6, on a scale of 1
to 10. Be ready. You will get wet! Guaranteed!
A brief stop at Travertine Canyon gives you an opportunity to hike
into this secret side canyon and enjoy a piece of nature only accessible
by river. After a delicious lunch, your raft winds its way down
the canyon over smooth water to Grand Canyon West.
You then board a helicopter for a breath-taking climb 4000 feet
up to the Rim of the Grand Canyon above. Finish with a scenic drive,
or return plane flight (depending on your option) to Las Vegas.
Arrive in Las Vegas with plenty of time for dinner and the evening
of Las Vegas fun.
